Principle 3: Most advanced,yet acceptable (MAYA)
- Examining the incompatibility of two theories:
- -The preferences for prototypes theory (Whitfield & Slatter, 1979)
- -The attractiveness of novelty (Martindale, 1990)
Principle 4: Congruence / appropriateness
- The relationship between various sensory impressions-multi modality.
- Since ease of identification has survival value, we tend to prefer products that convey similar messages to all our senses.
- Consistency of impressions will lead to elevated identification accuracy (Zellner, Bartoli, & Eckard, 1991)
-E.g. the levels of the smell and taste components in foods must match for an optimal pleasantness (Schifferstein & Verlegh, 1996)

How would you relate the principles of pleasure in your game?
The using of many character in a game will attract society to play the game.
How would you relate the principles of pleasure in your animation/ advertisement?
The using of variety of color and size in advertisement can attract people to get close or buy the product.

Today I got to learn about principles of pleasure and I will follow this principles when doing my work especially in advertisement, poster etc.
And that's all for AESTHETICS DESIGN class for this semester. It was a fun, rilex and enjoyable class. Will miss this class environment, and of course will miss our lecturer Dr. Tan.😊. BYE. ASSALAMUALAIKUM.
